The Agency, fully owned by the well-respected Khimji Ramdas Group operating in the Sultanate since 1870, began operations as Khimji's House of Travel in August 2009 building on the experience & foundations of Aries Travels that had been operating in the Sultanate of Oman over the past two decades. In December 2011, Khimji's House of Travel was appointed the Lufthansa City Center partner in the Sultanate of Oman and in December 2012 was adjudged “The Best Travel Operator in Oman" by Ministry of Tourism – Government of Oman.
